Urban meets Rural with the most relaxed bride in Wales!

Bethan first dropped me an email back in May 2016 regarding help for their wedding at Rosedew Farm, Llantwit Major. After a bit of emailing we got together at my workshop for a chat one night in March 2017, 4 months before she was due to marry Rhodri.

Bethan was just lovely to talk to and I listened to her and Rhodri's plans so far. I loved the fact they were first getting married in Y Tabernacl Church in The Hayes, Cardiff. A central location which they capitalised on with their chosen photographer's Catherine & Angharad. The contrast to switch to rural Rosedew Farm was quite a combination.

I didn't get to meet Rhodri but Bethan was most relaxed pre-wedding and appeared more interested in what I thought would be good for her wedding than what she thought! She made quick decisions which is always a welcome suprise and also had me make a few bespoke pieces for them. They incorporated their own logo into the wedding stationary and so we used it for their welcome board too. We added some rustic bunting throughout the barn, some rustic touches with logs and hessian runners and banners. Our handmade driftwood heart was chosen to feature centre stage behind the top table.

Bethan stands out for being the most genuinely thankful person for the work I did for her, the most pleasant girl to work with and I'm so glad she picked me.
